Robbie Eagles To Debut For Impact In X-Division Title Match

Robbie Eagles (8, PWDU Top 50, 2022) will make his Impact Wrestling debut in Australia on the upcoming ‘Impact Downunder Tour’ to take place in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales. The current TMDK member has been flying the Aussie wrestling flag not only in New Japan Pro Wrestling but most recently in Ring of Honor taking on Claudio Castagnoli for the ROH World title back in April.

Now the former IWGP Junior Heavyweight champion will compete for the X-Division championship on Friday June 30 at the Equex Centre in Wagga Wagga. Current champion Chis Sabin will not only have to contend with Eagles himself but also former X-Division champion Frankie Kazarian in a triple threat match.

Impact Wrestling posted the following…

Chris Sabin dethroned Trey Miguel to become a record-setting 9-time X-Division Champion. When IMPACT Wrestling goes down under, Sabin will put his title on the line as he defends against fellow X-Division pioneer Frankie Kazarian and New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Robbie Eagles, who will be competing in his home country of Australia. Buckle up for what promises to be an edge-of-your-seat thrill ride!

Order Impact Downunder on Fite.tv, June 30 & July 1.
