Australian Women Dominate Wrestlemania Weekend
South Australian Rhea Ripley of The Judgment Day defeated Charlotte Flair on Night 1 of WrestleMania 39 to capture the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Rhea Ripley was not the only Australian to make waves over the Wrestlemania weekend, Victoria’s Indi Hartwell is now the new WWE NXT Women’s champion. Hartwell defeated former champion Roxanne Perez, as well as Tiffany Stratton, Gigi Dolin, Zoey Stark and Lyra Valkyria in a Ladder Match. The match took place at NXT Stand & Deliver.
This with Shazza making her ROH debut and Steph De Lander making her AEW debut, a great week for Australia.
