Aussie Top 10 Tag Teams 2022

PWdownunder.com has released the Top 10 Australian Tag Teams for the year 2022.

Keep in mind this is a list of wrestlers who in our opinion (PW Downunder) stood out in 2022. All comments and disagreements are welcome as long as they stay respectful.

10. The Circus Of Tragedy – Thirteen & Pogo (QLD – UPW). United Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions

9. The Flashbacks – Johnny Hardway & James Draker (WA – NHPW). Won the New Horizons Pro Wrestling SST Legacy Tag Team Championship twice in 2022.

8. Big Dude Energy – Big Dave & Rickie Gilmore (VIC – DMDU, MCW, APW). Current Deathmatch Downunder Tag Team Champions & Adrenaline Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions

7. Adventures Of Havok And Link – Havok & Link Barnett (SA – WR). Wrestle Rampage Tag Team Champions since February 26, 2022.

6. The Parea – Eli Theseus & Gabriel Aeros (SA – RCW, MCW, NHPW, BCW, WSW). Despite not holding tag gold in 2022, The Parea are one of the most booked tag teams in Australia. WSW appearance in July.

5. MK Ultra Plus – Michael Spencer & Kai Drake (NSW – PWA). PWA Tag Team Champions

4. The Pulse – Jarrad Slate & Felix Young (WA – EPW, STW, SHWA). Current Southern Hemisphere Wrestling Alliance Tag Team Champions & Southern Territory Tag Team Champions. Held the Explosive Pro Wrestling Tag Team titles for 189 days during 2022.

3. Brady LTD – Dean Brady & DELTA (SA – RCW, FWA, NPW). Two time Riot City Wrestling Tag Teams Champions, current Future Wrestling Australia Tag Team Champions. Newy Pro Semi-Finalists. Ranked 58 in PWI’s Top 100 Tag Teams of 2022.

2.  The VeloCities – Paris De Silva & Jude London (NSW – PWA, NPW, MCW, SLAM). PWA Tag Team Champions twice during 2022. Competed in 4 states and the ACT in 2022. Defended the ASCA Tag Titles in Australia. Competed for NJPW in Sydney.

1. The Natural Classics – Steve Filip & Tome Filip (VIC – MCW, BCW, SLAM, WSW). Current Battle Championship Wrestling Tag Team Champions, first SLAM Pro Wrestling League Tag Team Champions, just over 8 months as Melbourne City Wrestling Tag Team Champions during 2022. Competed for World Series Wrestling.
