Shawn Spears Departs AEW

Shawn Spears has taken to X formerly known as Twitter to announce his departure from AEW, the former WWE star had thanked AEW and the fans for his time with the company. The former Tye Dillinger was released from the WWE in 2019 before heading towards AEW in 2019 at their inaugural Double or Nothing PPV participating in the battle royal.

What a wonderful time it has been.

Thank you @AEW for allowing me to be there from the ground level. It’s been a fantastic 5 years of growth and personal development.

This is a personal choice and one that is best for me and my family at this time.

Spears would revert to being The Perfect 10 character that he was in WWE in October of this year but would soon vanish from TV and then depart the company.

While working for AEW Spears also competed with World Series Wrestling and would claim the WSW Heavyweight Title before losing it back to Matt Cardona.
