Zack Sabre Jr. Wins PWA Colosseum Tournament

Zack Sabre Jr has defeated Paris De Silva in the PWA Colosseum 2023 Final at PWA’s Black Label Colosseum Night 2 event to become the 2023 Colosseum Tournament winner. It was an action-packed night at Liberty Hall in NSW.

In the first Round of the Colosseum Tournament Jude London defeated Emman Azman, Mat Basso defeated Cherry Stephens, Zack Sabre Jr defeated Jack J. Bonza, Paris De Silva defeated DELTA. The second night started with Paris De Silva beating Matt Basso in the first of the two semi final matches, Zack Sabre Jr would defeat Jude “The Dude” London to move onto the final.

The previous tournament was held in 2019 with current WWE Superstar Grayson Waller (then known as Matty Wahlberg) won the tournament with the likes of Chris Basso, Davis Storm, Jessica Troy, Orange Cassidy, Ricky South, Sam Osborne and Travis Banks participating.

Before that in 2018 Mick Moretti won the very first Colosseum Tournament, in that tournament AJ Istria, Damian Slater, Jack Bonza, Kyle Fletcher, Paris De Silva, Ricky South and Unsocial Jordan participated.

This was the first time for Zack Sabre Jr to be appearing with Pro Wrestling Australia, though Zack isn’t a stranger to Australian wrestling fans as he’s hit our shores a few times in the past.
