Keith Lee To Undergo Surgery
AEW Wrestler Keith Lee announced that he will undergo two surgeries in the near future, as a result Lee was pulled from in ring competition, thus a match with former tag team partner Swerve Strickland on December 30th, 2023 at AEW World’s End was scrapped.
The announcement was made via a private account to and circulated by Haus Of Wrestling:
Took roughly 19 years…. but I guess it’s my turn, time to get fixed. Here’s to double surgeries. Certainly one way to start 2024.

While Lee did not go into detail on the specific issues, rumours began circulating that he would undergo throat and heart surgery. However this was confirmed to be untrue by Lee’s wife, WWE wrestler Mia “Michin” Yim:
Smdh. Ringside news is hot pressed garbage. I won’t state specifics but heart and throat surgery is absolutely false.
