Kenny Omega Hospitalised With Diverticulitis, Ruled Out Of Action Indefinitely

Former AEW Champion Kenny Omega took to X over the weekend to make the unfortunate announcement that he had been admitted to hospital for intense pain, admitting he had tried to push through the pain until it became unbearable. This situation has forced Omega out of wrestling indefinitely and it is unknown if, let alone when he will return to the ring at this time.

It has been revealed that Omega was diagnosed with a diverticular abscess, one of the complications of diverticulitis.

Omega explained that if he had been diagnosed too late then removing a part of his colon would be a possibility.

The abscess can be treated with antibiotics, however if that fails, surgery may be required to remove the damaged tissue.
