It has been reported by PWInsider that during a match on the December 8th episode of Smackdown, Charlotte Flair suffered an injury that has since been identified as a torn ACL, MCL and meniscus, and possibly a neck injury but that has not been confirmed. Flair struggled to finish the match as her opponent, Asuka, found an opportunity for a roll up to defeat the former Women’s Champion.

The injury occurred during a commercial break, as Flair was seated on the top rope and Asuka standing in front on the ropes, Flair stands before losing her footing on the ropes amd falls to the mat awkwardly. Flair can be seen limping during an interference from Bayley and the eventual victory for Asuka.

Charlotte Flair suffered a torn ACL, a torn meniscus and a torn MCL when she fell from the top rope while wrestling Asuka.

She will be having surgery as soon as it can be scheduled, PWInsider.com is told.

The belief, although not confirmed, is that she suffered a strained neck in the fall as well.

We send our best to Flair for a quick and painless recovery.
