READY TO BALLROOM BRAWL!

MCW (Melbourne City Wrestling) will present their biggest Ballroom Brawl to date on Saturday the 5th of July live from the Melbourne Pavilion. So far, over 1000 tickets have been sold to the event, which is surely going to be an unmissable blockbuster.

Here’s what we know so far: The MCW Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Tournament Final Round is set to take place, when Mitch Waterman and Ryan Rapid take on Anth Cava and The Clydesdale. Who will walk away as the new number one contenders?

We also have a no rules and no disqualifications match between The Sacrament which will see Edward Dusk compete against Rocky Menero.

A Tag Team Match is all set between the members of Kulture, Eugenie and Moko, who will take on MCW World Heavyweight Champion Caveman Ugg and Erika Reid – a partner choice that was very smart on Erika’s behalf.

A singles match is locked in for Ricky South and Tommy Knight, where the winner will get to enter the Ballroom Brawl as the 20th entrant.

The MCW Intercommonwealth Championship will be on the line when Adam Brooks defends against Lucky O’Leary.

Now, for the Ballroom Brawl itself! 20 competitors will battle it out in an over the top rope showdown, with the last one standing earning a guaranteed opportunity to challenge for the MCW World Heavyweight Championship anytime in the next 12 months. Unluckily for him, Robbie Thorpe will be entering the Ballroom Brawl as entrant number 1. These odds are definitely not desirable in such a match, but we have seen competitors enter these types of matches as number 1 before, and actually make it to the very end, and even win.

In addition to Robbie Thorpe, we also know that the following entrants have been confirmed: Tommy Knight, Lucky O’Leary, Lucas Fantasia, Jarvis, Ricky South, Kobe Reid, The Physicals (Jimmy Castle and Johnny Jetts), Zhan Wen, The Musketeer, The Dropouts (Scott Green and The Tuckman) and Thirteen.
