Next Saturday June 28th at the Bacchus Marsh Public Hall in Victoria, Mayhem Pro will hold a special presentation for Aussie legend George ‘The Hitman’ Julio. George will receive the first PWdownunder.com Pioneer Award.
PWDU announced the creation of the ‘Australian Wrestling Pioneers’ back in January 2025 as a way to honor names that first opened the scene for others to grow and develop.
George has had a profound impact on the Victorian wrestling scene as a wrestler, promoter and trainer. In the week leading up to ‘Bad To The Bone’ on June 28, notable names in the Australian wrestling scene have sent in special thank you videos for George.
Alpha Pro Wrestling’s Mike Manson and veteran referee Daniel Beaumont have sent in the first two videos which can be viewed below.
