The IInspiration Pick Up The Win In TNA Wrestling Return
The Aussie duo of Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay, known collectively as The IInspiration, have secured just their second victory as a tag team since 2022 this week on the June 12th episode of TNA IMPACT.
The former WWE Women’s and TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions defeated the team of Brittnie Brooks and Missa Kate, hitting the Idolizer team finisher for the win.
Lee and McKay made their return to TNA Wrestling on the pre-show of TNA Against All Odds, confronting the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Ash By Elegance and Heather By Elegance. TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella also personally introduced The IInspiration to the IMPACT Zone before their return match this week.
Lee and McKay were previously featured in WWE as The IIconics, under the names of Peyton Royce and Billie Kay respectively. Featured from 2015 to 2020, the duo would go on to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. They are also former TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions from their first stint in the promotion from 2021 to 2022.
