WA’s Southern Territory Wrestling Rebrand Women’s Division

Southern Territory Wrestling has revealed a rebrand for its women’s division under a new name: The Valkyries.

The promotion made the announcement via social media, sharing the inspiration behind the name. In a post, STW wrote, “In Norse mythology, Valkyries weren’t just warriors, they were forces of fate. Fierce, fearless, and unshakably loyal, they chose who rose, who fell, and who would be remembered. They didn’t wait for permission. They took their place on the battlefield.”

According to the promotion, the rebrand is more than cosmetic, intended to reflect a renewed focus on the division’s identity and direction. STW stated that the division is being rebuilt in the spirit of resilience and strength, aiming to showcase athletes who embody those values.

STW has been sharing “Valkyrie Spotlights” across its Facebook page—brief profiles highlighting members of the division and their individual attributes. So far, three names have been publicly announced: Kori Beck, Skylar Deveraux, and Harli Hyde, each expected to play a prominent role in the division’s future.

STW elaborated further in its original announcement, saying, “Our division is built in the same spirit. The Valkyries is more than a name. It’s a calling. It’s about toughness, resilience, and showing the world what happens when powerful women step into the fight without backing down. These athletes are skilled. They’re hungry. And they’re ready to lead STW into a new era.”
