Ric Flair Reveals Second Skin Cancer Diagnosis

Wrestling legend Ric Flair has confirmed that he’s been diagnosed with skin cancer for the second time in just three years. The 16-time world champion initially kept the news private, denying early reports on social media, but has now come forward to share the reality of his situation.
At 76, Flair is no stranger to serious health scares. In 2017, he nearly lost his life after suffering kidney failure and congestive heart failure brought on by years of alcohol abuse. That incident left him in a medically induced coma, followed by emergency surgery and the fitting of a pacemaker. Against the odds, Flair made a full recovery and returned to public life with his trademark bravado intact.
Despite this latest setback, Flair remains upbeat. He’s set to begin treatment next week and has expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support from fans and friends. “I’ll fight this just like I’ve fought everything else,” Flair told media, keeping true to the resilience that’s defined both his career and personal life.
Flair has also acknowledged the continued support of his former partner Wendy Barlow, who stood by him during his 2017 health ordeal. The pair announced an amicable separation in 2023 after 13 years together, but they remain on good terms.
Proving he’s still the life of the party, Flair was recently spotted attending a WrestleMania weekend event in Las Vegas, living it up the only way ‘The Nature Boy’ knows how — with style and charisma. While this diagnosis is another hurdle for the wrestling icon, Flair’s outlook remains positive. As always, the wrestling world will be rooting for the Nature Boy as he steps into yet another fight.
