NRL Looks To Aussie Wrestling For Pre-Match Entertainment
IPW AND PWA GO NRL!
The Australian NRL (National Rugby League) is giving its fans some extra action when they bring in some of Australia’s best indy professional wrestlers to deliver their own goals – a whole lot of entertaining wrestling action!
First in the mix is PWA (Pro Wrestling Australia), bringing some action to Round 14 (Wests Tigers vs Penrith Panthers) on the 8th of June at the CommBank Stadium in Sydney. The pre-show entertainment is lined up for 2:30pm and will feature names including Ben Braxton, Shay Cassidy and Paris De Silva. This comes after a successful pre-show of wrestling back in April of 2025.
Second in the mix is IPW (Impact Pro Wrestling), bringing their wrestling action to Round 15 (Titans vs Sea Eagles) on the 13th of June to the Cbus Super Stadium in the Gold Coast. This pre-show entertainment is lined up for 8pm, and comes after a successful pre-show of wrestling back in August of 2024. Names of appearing talent will be coming soon – watch those socials!
This is a very exciting collaboration that brings the NRL together with some wrestling action as well, so if you’re a fan of both, get on it!
