WWE Weekly Round-Up: Heyman Crashes Out; A Blissful Return; A Brogue Kick to Theory.

Ladies and gentlemen welcome to a brand-new edition of the Weekly Round-Up where we look back over the newsworthy segments coming out of Raw and Smackdown. It’s your AEW specialist Raz taking the reins this week as a guest host.

As the dust continues to settle on a wild end to Wrestlemania season we continue on our journey down the road to Backlash in St Louis, let’s get into it.

Heyman confronts Jey Uso

We kick off this week’s episode of Raw with the World Heavyweight Champion calling out the Social Media Superstar, Logan Paul, but instead he gets the mastermind behind The Bloodline – Paul Heyman.

Of course, Heyman is not out here to mince words. He is here for business, and that business is the World Heavyweight Championship that currently resides around Jey’s waist.

The Irish Arse-kicker is here!

Last week Austin Theory and Grayson Waller were advised that Theory would be going one on one with a mystery opponent. Little did they know that Ireland’s palest ginger would make his way back onto our screens as Sheamus brought the Bowery back to WWE. Waller could do nothing but watch on as his tag team partner was taken to town.

NXT Call ups continue to plague the Mistress of the Sky

It’s been an awkward time for the Women’s World Champion in recent weeks with losing her friends in the releases, being overshadowed and underestimated in the build to Wrestlemania. This week she would be challenged by former NXT Champion, Roxanne Perez. It wouldn’t be until after the match where we would see the truth of Perez and she teamed up with NXT’s Giulia to put a beating on the champ.

Little Miss Bliss teams with the US Champ

Chelsea Green and Piper Niven were set to take on Zelina Vega and a partner of her choosing. Vega would decide to recruit the former 5-time Women’s champion, Alexa Bliss. Bliss made her return to WWE at the Royal Rumble but has not been seen on television since, leading to everyone questioning where she has been.

Orton tricks Cena into eating an RKO

Cena continues his tirade of tearing down the WWE Universe and continues on his mission to “ruin pro wrestling” as he heads to what he believes to be the final battle with his old nemesis, Randy Orton. Cena says that “tomorrow your childhood dies!” He goes on a rant about the history between the two men and how they have shared the spotlight more than 100 times and have over 31 combined championships between them.

Cena claims that “tomorrow is their final match”. He says that tomorrow he will prove three things, life isn’t fair, winners write the history books, and Randy Orton is a liar. Cena continues to call himself the Greatest of All Time and drag the audience down before someone attempts to attack him from behind, but Cena leaves them laying, only to end up on the business end of an RKO.
