Top 3 Moments From AEW All Out 2024

All Elite Wrestling returned to Chicago, Illinois this past Saturday for their annual All Out Pay-Per-View. This event saw a card full of match-ups and moments leading to the end of rivalries, partnerships and maybe a career or two. Here are three of the most memorable moments from AEW All Out 2024:

3: Garcia Gets The Last Laugh.

After making a surprise return at AEW All In, and costing MJF the AEW “American” Championship, Daniel Garcia has wasted no time in his pursuit of MJF as the two met in Chicago. MJF would come out the other end as the victor via nefarious means. Despite this, Daniel Garcia took a chance, accepting the extended hand of MJF after the bell and countering a low blow for one of his own. Garcia would then finally execute the top rope piledriver he had attempted throughout the match, leaving MJF motionless in the ring.

According to a report by WrestlePurists, Daniel Garcia was scheduled to defeat MJF. However due to upcoming commitments, that was changed so MJF would instead win, with Garcia’s post-match attack being used to explain MJF’s future absence.

2: Reuse And Recycle.

Bryan Danielson’s first defence of the AEW Championship was against Jack Perry in Chicago. However, Perry would become an afterthought following Danielson’s victory.

Killswitch would level the champion in the ring, before The Patriarchy, lead by Christian Cage made their way to the ring. Cage, with contract in hand, intended to submit his rightful challenge for the AEW Championship that he had won at All In. Before he could do so, the Blackpool Combat Club, comprising of Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli and their partner PAC, stood their ground between the champion and Cage. The group backed down and the BCC took to the ring to celebrate.

At this moment, the BCC’s true intentions came to light. Claudio levels Danielson with a European uppercut. A dazed and shocked Danielson couldn’t retaliate before Moxley begins to wrap a plastic bag around the head of the champion. PAC holding Wheeler Yuta back, seemingly the only member of the group unfamiliar with the plan, this is all the doing of Moxley and Claudio. The betrayal concludes with Danielson, beaten and unconscious, receiving oxygen by medical staff while Wheeler Yuta weeps by his side.

1: Lights Out, Goodnight.

One of the bloodiest rivalries AEW has ever seen, “Hangman” Adam Page and Swerve Strickland concluded their heated affair inside of a steel cage in the main event. The match, billed as a Lights Out Steel Cage Match, allowed both men to do incredible damage to one another in pursuit of victory, and revenge. Swerve Strickland, donned in gear plastered with the image of Page sitting outside of Strickland’s burning childhood home, utilised mutiple objects, including a cinder block, to try and defeat Page. The latter of which used a syringe to penetrate the cheek of his opponent. Ultimately, Adam Page would be the one to have his hand raised, at the end of a brutal and bloody contest.
